A Legacy of Service
This exhibit explores three pivotal periods in Syracuse University’s history: Chancellor Tolley (1942-1969), along with the Continuing the Commitment with Chancellor Syverud (2014-present), and finishing with the impact on student veterans and their families, Who We Are (2020-present).
Discover the rich and enduring legacy of Syracuse University’s commitment to supporting veterans, a tradition that stretches back more than a century. It even predates the First World War hailing all the way back to 1917. Today, the history of commitment still continues to shape the university’s culture and programs.
