While Detachment 535 is housed at Syracuse University, you do not need to attend SU to participate in our AFROTC program. You can attend any of our cross-town universities listed below, spending much of your time earning your undergraduate degree at your institution and travel to SU once or twice a week for the AFROTC specific activities.
Become a Cross-town Cadet
As a cross-town cadet you will have the chance to attend one of our ten cross-town universities while attending Air Force training and academic classes at SU. Additionally, there are no extra registration costs associated with these Air Force training courses
