On Tuesday, February 19th, the Intra-University Transfer Fair (IUT) will be held in the atrium of Schine Student Center from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Students thinking about transferring to another school or college within the University are encouraged to attend.
“The IUT Fair provides students a central location to meet with representatives from all of the University’s schools and colleges to discuss the various majors and minors and the entrance requirements,” says Amie Redmond, assistant dean at the School of Education. “The IUT Fair is an example of the ‘One University’ mission of the University: all schools and colleges working together to support our students.”
This fair is a great opportunity for students to ask questions about the various majors offered campuswide. Students will also be able to learn more about application deadlines, course requirements, or anything else that is important for a student to know if they wish to transfer.
“Students will also be able to explore changing their major within their school or college, along with adding or changing their minor,” says Amanda Nicholson, assistant provost and dean for student success. “The IUT will also feature advisors who can provide information on the many academic programs we have available here.”
The fair is sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience.
