Luis “Lu” Weierbach is a Captain in the U.S. Army who is currently enrolled at Syracuse University’s College of Law. After completing his education he will return to the Army as an officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps. Weierbach is Syracuse University’s 2023 Tillman Scholar, and in this video expresses his support for the foundation as well as encourages other student veterans at Syracuse University to apply for the prestigious scholarship.

My name is Lou werbeck I’m a Captain in the US Army. I’m a JD candidate at Syracuse University College of Law and I’m a Tillman Scholar. You know going from leading infantry soldiers to reporting to law school day one was a transition to say the least. My wife and I on one of our trips home we did a tour and one of the things that was important to me was a sense of community and to an extent I did find it at the College of Law and at the university.
The Tillman Foundation is a collection of folks who want to change the world in some meaningful way as Pat Tilman did. I knew a bit about it but do your research and learn more. I think if you do you may be like I was impassioned to be a part of it.
