The Air Force ROTC uniform is earned, not given. It takes a unique individual to succeed in Air Force ROTC. It takes dedication, drive, and discipline. Since the goal of the program is to help students become officers and leaders in the U.S. Air Force, you will need to meet certain standards and be able to maintain them throughout the program.
- Be a US Citizen or working towards citizenship
- Maintain full-time student (12+ credit hours) while attending a university or college affiliated with AFROTC
- Limited negative civil, military, or school involvement
- Meet AFROTC fitness standards each semester by completing Physical Fitness Assessment and meeting height, weight, and BMI standards
- Keep working towards undergraduate degree while maintaining >2.0 term/cumulative GPA
- While in the program, earn a passing score in the Air Force Officer Qualification Test (AFOQT)
- While in the program, complete commission-qualified Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DoDMERB) exam
- While in the program, earn an Enrollment Allocation to attend Field Training
