Technical Sergeant Alexis A. Stanley is the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Training Instructor and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Sub-Region 5, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 535 at Syracuse University. She serves as an instructor and primary enlisted advisor on cadet academics, professional development, military discipline, and welfare for four active-duty officer and enlisted personnel as well as over 40 United States Air Force and United States Space Force officer candidates. Additionally, she is responsible for managing a myriad of cadet life- cycle personnel programs and records overseeing security clearances, enlistments, categorizations, and commissioning processes.
Sergeant Stanley entered the Air Force in March 2015 and graduated from the Security Forces Apprentice Course at Lackland Air Force Base in September 2015. Since then, she has held multiple leadership positions with a diverse experience in Nuclear Operations, Anti-Terrorism, Plans and Programs, Law Enforcement and Fly-Away missions. Prior to her current position, she served as the Flight Sergeant, 72d Security Forces Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
Sergeant Stanley ran an Intelligence fusion cell where she coordinated with multiple Three-Letter Agencies to brief senior Air Force leaders on threats to operations of moving nuclear assets. She was also part of a tactical Helicopter Operations security team for nuclear asset transportation and deployed to U.S. Air Force Southern Command as a security team for the area’s largest multi-national joint operation in 31 years, seizing three cartel aircraft and fifteen million dollars of illegal narcotics.
