Join the Student Veterans Organization (SVO), in partnership with the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (OVMA), for our annual Friendsgiving dinner reception! As the semester winds down and the holidays approach, this is a chance to pause, recharge, and enjoy a much-deserved break from the rigors of college life.
Student veterans, military-connected students, and their families are invited to gather for a warm, relaxed evening of good food and good company. Whether you’ve been part of the SVO since your first semester or you’re just getting to know the community, you’re welcome here. Friendsgiving is a great opportunity to meet fellow veterans, reconnect with familiar faces, and build the camaraderie that makes the SU experience stronger.
What to expect:
- A home-style holiday meal with all the Thanksgiving favorites
- Time to connect with fellow student veterans, staff, and families
- A spirit of gratitude, community, and giving back
