Major General Franklin J. Blaisdell

Major General Bernard L. Weiss
Soon after graduating from NYU, Bernard Weiss entered the US Air Force as a commissioned officer in 1956, first serving at the New York Air Procurement District in New York City as an administrative contracting officer
Major General Edmund R. Thompson
After six years in Japan, Thompson returned to the US, attending Syracuse University, where he earned two Master’s Degrees, one in Geography and another in Public Affairs in 1959. Thompson’s next assignment was back at West Point, where he joined the Department of Social Sciences for four years.
Major General Anthony L. Punaro
Soon after graduation, Anthony Punaro entered the United States Marine Corps; his first deployment was to Vietnam, where he served as an Infantry Platoon Commander. While in Vietnam, he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
Maj. Gen. James E. Freeze
James Freeze enlisted in the Army in 1949. As the Korean War showed no sign of dwindling, Freeze desired the opportunity to move up within the ranks of the Army and continued his education through the University of Maryland as part of the officer corps program.
Louis J. Giuliano
Louis J. Giuliano is a man of principle and an American businessman who graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (’68) and Master of Business Administration in Marketing (’69) from the Whitman School of Management. Giuliano is also a U.S. Army veteran who made the rank of First Lieutenant and served honorably in Vietnam.
Louis F. Bantle
Born into the Great Depression in 1929, Louis F. Bantle witnessed first-hand the strengths and weaknesses of U.S. economy as well as its global reach. Influenced by his early childhood and by his father, Louis A. Bantle, Mr. Bantle attended the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in 1951, graduating with a degree in business administration.
Lorimer Rich
Mr. Lorimer Rich graduated from Syracuse University in 1914 with a degree in architecture, and then immediately went on to serve with distinction as a U.S. Army infantryman during World War I.
Lieutenant General Charles P. McCausland
He then enrolled as a student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University, and graduated in 1957. Upon graduation and completion of ROTC training at SU, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
