Syracuse University football takes on Pittsburgh on Saturday, November 11th, at 3:30 pm at Yankee Stadium. Thanks to the support from The Office of Veteran and Military Affairs and the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families, these winners will both be joining the loud house in NYC to support the football team playing in Yankee Stadium!

Hometown Hero – U.S. Army LTCs Dwayne and Alison Murray
United States Army LTC’s Dwayne and Alison Murray’s journey to Syracuse University began in the late 1990s arriving from White Plains, New York and Severna Park, Maryland, respectively.
Hometown Hero: Dr. Larry Myers
United States Army Colonel (retired) Larry Myers was commissioned in 1942 as a field artillery officer after graduating from Purdue University’s ROTC program.
Ben Brickman: SU Football Walk-on and Marine Veteran
Ben enlisted after high school and completed two tours in Afghanistan before attending Syracuse University in his mid-twenties. He is the first walk-on football player at SU since the 1930s. Now a senior, he looks back at his time attending SU positively and thankful for how support the University has been.
