United States Army Captain Levi Reynolds was born in Kansas City, Missouri. Levi’s thirteen years of Army service began in 2010 when he enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Crewmember. By 2015, he commissioned into the Active Duty Army as a Finance and Comptroller Officer.
Captain Reynolds’ first duty station was Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he served in the 18th Financial Management Support Center, 18th Engineer Brigade, and 3rd Special Forces Group Resource Management Office. While in 3rd Special Forces Group, he was given duty in Baumholder, Germany to work in the Special Operations Command Forward, North and West Africa Budget Office. Captain Reynolds was also stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Fort Bliss, Texas. At Fort Bliss, he served as the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command Deputy Comptroller and Commander for Alpha Detachment of the 4th Financial Management Support Unit.
Captain Reynolds has two deployments to U.S. Central Command with service in Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Afghanistan. Captain Reynolds’ awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal.
His proudest moment was taking Command of the 4th Financial Management Support Unit, Alpha Detachment stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas where he was trusted with Finance Soldiers responsible for assisting the operations of the Fort Bliss Military Pay Office and preparing for upcoming deployments overseas.
Today, Captain Reynolds is a student in Syracuse University’s Defense Comptrollership Program at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He is married to his wife Olivia, and they have two beautiful children: son, Malachi (18-months) and daughter, Rosalie (2 months).
