Raul “Rudy” Rosique (U.S. Navy)
Raul “Rudy” Rosique serves as the Vice President of Syracuse University’s Student Veterans Organization while pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, with an expected graduation in Spring 2026. A U.S. Navy veteran with five years of service, Rudy previously served as a submarine driver specializing in logistics, operating in high-responsibility environments where precision, coordination, and accountability were essential. His military and academic excellence have earned him three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (NAM), two “Best for Vets” recognitions at Syracuse University, and the distinction of Veteran of the Year at SU in 2024.
“SVO is important to me because I am committed to creating pathways where veterans feel supported, understood, and empowered as they transition from military service into higher education. Strong veteran communities help translate service experience into academic and professional success.”

Outside of his leadership and academic work, Rudy enjoys woodworking, epoxy projects, and video and audio editing. After graduation, he plans to serve as an administrator within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), advancing policies and operational practices that improve access, equity, and quality of care for veterans nationwide.
